Did you ever manually install any sound drivers? I disabled the internal sound card in the bios last night.

This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the ‘needs- upstream- testing’ text. There is no mention in this applet of the Creative Sound Blaster card as far as I can see.
