Eventually I was able to locate a different USB cable that was compatible with your module and I determined that the junk 4″ cable you supplied was defective. Tried re-installing all the drivers more times than I can count, restarting, reinstalling again, etc. Then I opened Internet explorer 11 and connected the Maestro Sw. I’m not sure what the connector you use is but I had a hell of a time locating a compatible cable. Please advise us, idatalink!

Windows Feature Control Panel. Fortunately, that is also included on Windows I have the Meastro SW. Only response is when I try reconnecting the weblink, it flashes blue for a split second, then back to red flashes.

I have gotten the “module not detected” and afterwards reinstalled USB drivers with the start menu install links as I have read. In that folder you need to run Install USB driver. idaatlink

Flashing an iDatalink Maestro RR using 64 Bit Windows 10
I am using the supplied USB cable, the green light is lit on the module. Then I opened Internet explorer 11 and connected the Maestro Sw. Idatapink second time it worked, and the status of the module showed the correct firmware installed. I installed it in my car and it works great!
You need to enable weblimk. The module should not be plugged into the computer until after the software is finished the installation process. I plug in the module after that and click “Flash your module”, I get “Weblink updater plugin required”. You will see a black DOS prompt window pop up when the driver is forced to install.
Another module not detected case –
It took me a couple of tries to get the module to flash completely. Any help would be appreciated Shaun.
Most people probably have a few of these lying around. I have followed the instructions here in the forum to install the drivers twice Wdblink did that and it did not work, so I tried again multiple times without successbut I still get the same error message. I have the exact same issue and tried everything you did. There are videos on our website to help you flash the product.
iDatalink – ADS-USB
Go to Internet Options upper right gear icon on the browser. Do this weglink twice to force it to installs. Is the light on the module supposed to turn on when I plug it into my USB port on my laptop?
After getting same response, When i did click the install FTDI driver, it popped up a black dos screen and installed driver, i tried reconnecting still no go. Returned Weblink Updater and received new one – this is an idatxlink buy from seller “theaudioshop”. The flash originally worked fine with a pioneer head unit, but now I’m trying idatalibk flash it for a JVC unit and the “module not detected” message keeps coming up after multiple installs of the updater and drivers.
